This popular event raises money for scholarships to support young people who have been served in a CSI program. This luncheon features a guest speaker addressing the topic of women in philanthropy and the true “power of the purse” when it comes to charitable giving. Most notably, it includes a silent auction featuring fabulous handbags and purse packages, resulting in great fun and great funds for the scholarship program.

Deadline Extended! Our Guild is accepting applications, due March 1, 2012, for the Christine Parker Memorial Scholarship—a $2500 non-renewable scholarship to be awarded to individuals who have participated in CSI’s services as a client. The applicant must have been involved in a CSI program or service such as: Emergency Shelter, Foster Care, Child and Adolescent Therapy, Parenting Education, Substance Abuse Treatment, Adoption, Independent Living Skills for teens, Developmental Childcare.
