Child Saving Institute’s Cabaret 2008 featuring Martin Short
The
planning committee for Child Saving Institute’s (CSI) Cabaret
2008 announced Tony® and Emmy® winning actor, writer, comedian
and producer Martin Short will headline the May 10, 2008
fundraiser. Short's trademark physical comedy and amazingly
accurate impersonations shot him to stardom in the 1980s when he
was a cast member on Second City Television (SCTV) and
Saturday Night Live (SNL). Short crossed over into featured
films with starring roles in Three Amigos, The Santa
Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Father of the Bride (I & II),
Mars Attacks, and February 2008 release The Spiderwick
Chronicles. Television credits include: The Martin Short
Show, Arrested Development, Alice in Wonderland
as the Mad Hatter, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and
Prince Charming.
Cabaret 2008 Honorary Chairmen are Mary & Charlie Heider.
General Chairmen are Cindy & Scott Heider and Mary Lou & Mark
Brasee. WOWT Channel 6 is the media sponsor. Tickets are $150.

Attend "Club Cabaret" immediately following Martin
Short’s one-hour performance on stage. Tickets limited for
an intimate gathering with Martin Short available for $100
additional per guest.
Money raised during the annual fundraiser will support CSI’s
emergency shelters for children and youth, substance abuse
intervention, intensive family preservation, adoption,
therapeutic foster care and developmental childcare.
Child Saving Institute's Grand
Re-Opening Weekend Celebration
Child Saving Institute will present its grand re-opening
weekend. The weekend will celebrate the expansion and renovation
of CSI's main building.
