Adoption and Foster Care

Child Saving Institute's adoption and foster care services include six different services focused on the expansion of families through the addition of foster or adoptive children. Since its inception, the agency has helped thousands of families grow, and provided thousands of infants, children and youth with safe and loving homes through the processes of placement and permanency.  CSI is licensed to serve families in Nebraska and Iowa.

Sometimes individuals or couples unable to have birth children are longing to parent a newborn infant through childhood and adolescence, to adulthood.

Sometimes an individual or couple is most interested in parenting older children, or providing short-term but committed foster care to children or adolescents whose birth parents have lost their parental rights because of abuse or neglect.

Sometimes an interracial couple is looking for a child who may have a heritage from two different races and would feel loved and accepted with parents with unique racial backgrounds.

In all cases, these families find their hearts and lives expanded through the special, life-long process of adoption. Through all of these services – from foster care to post-adoption – CSI leads the way in creatively ‘growing’ loving families for children longing to be loved. Whether you are interested in short-term foster care or in making a long-term commitment to an infant or a child, this section will give you a glimpse of the options available through Child Saving Institute.
