On December 14th, heartwarming tales of love and compassion filled the airwaves during the CSI Radiothon on Mighty 1290 KOIL. There were many special guests---Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle, Council Bluffs Mayor Tom Hanafan, Omaha humorist Mary Maxwell, and the musical Rizzuto sisters from Mulberry Lane---who stopped by Regency Court Mall to participate. In addition, CSI board members, staff and clients shared their moving stories with many of the leading celebrity radio hosts from NRG Media, generous host of this annual event for the last 17 years.

Matching funds provided by long-time CSI supporters, as well as on-air challenges, motivated listeners to give and resulted in more than $64,500 in contributions for at-risk kids by 6 p.m. Thank you, all!
