Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer and Make a Lasting Impact!
On-Site Program Opportunities
Emergency Shelter – You have lots of opportunities to impact kids in CSI’s emergency shelter. You can volunteer your time to help kids ages 12 - 18 learn a new skill, or tie on an apron and help make a Saturday morning brunch, or cook a meal one night a week. Not handy in the kitchen, but a whiz at games? Bring a board game or shoot some hoops and share a little fun time with kids who don’t have a home of their own.
Early Childhood Education Center – Are you creative and have some time and energy to spare? Do you enjoy being with little people at work and play? If you do, this is the place for you! You can donate your time and hugs to a classroom of curious kiddos from six weeks to six years old.
Educational Support – Join our educational support team and provide watchful eyes for young CSI visitors, newborn to early teens, while their parents receive educational services.
Administrative Volunteers
Looking for a more occasional commitment? We could use your assistance with a variety of vital clerical and administrative functions in support of CSI’s fundraising and friend-raising efforts. Prefer digging in the dirt as opposed to stuffing envelopes, perhaps you’d enjoy tending CSI’s Nature Playground and outdoor flower beds? And no matter what your skill set—planning events, decorating and/or fundraising—the Child Saving Institute Guild wants YOU as a member!
