Dear Friends of Child Saving Institute,
The Omaha community is blessed with caring individuals who believe that children are our future, and how we raise them will determine how successful we will be. These individuals can be seen everywhere at Child Saving Institute – from the volunteer board of directors, to our dedicated staff of professionals, to our many financial and in-kind donors. All share in the agency’s common goal of caring for children, and creating hope for their futures.
In recent months, many of you have read or heard the shocking news of child deaths in Nebraska, and you may have wondered what Child Saving Institute is doing about it. I’m pleased to share with you that just as we have served children for the past 117 years, CSI continues to meet the community’s needs and pledges to you to work harder than ever to prevent child abuse and neglect and provide loving care to children who have endured abuse.
CSI’s programs range from preventive family education, preservation, and childcare to the healing programs of emergency shelter, foster care, and adoption. We, like you, want to live in a community where children can live free from dangerous situations, and develop to their fullest potential in loving, nurturing families.
CSI invites you to partner with us in building the community we want to live in. Consider volunteering, making a financial or in-kind gift, or becoming a foster or adoptive parent. However you choose to partner with us, please know that we appreciate your willingness to step forward, and make a difference in a child’s life.
